Description

If you’re a Burn Slow OG, you already know—Velvet is the reimagined classic that started it all. Formerly known as Cuffing Season, this scent wraps you in a silky blend of citrus top notes, juicy plum, black cherry, and a whisper of amber and sugar-kissed musk. It’s sensual, smooth, and endlessly comforting—like slipping into your favorite knit on a brisk evening.

When to Burn Velvet? As you settle in with a glass of red wine and your softest throw, whether you’re winding down solo or setting the mood for something (or someone) more intimate. This is your go-to for quiet evenings, movie marathons, and lingering conversations that last long into the night.

Burn Slow. Feel More.

Care

To get the most out of your Burn Slow experience, follow these simple tips to keep your candles burning beautifully — and safely.

Trim your wick. Before each burn, trim your wick to about ¼ inch. This keeps the flame clean, steady, and free of soot.

Let it burn evenly. On your first light, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the vessel (usually 2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling and sets the stage for an even, long-lasting burn.

Don’t overdo it. Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish, let it cool, and relight when ready.

Keep it clean. Make sure your candle is free of debris like wick trimmings or matches before lighting.

Know when to say goodbye. Stop burning your candle when about ½ inch of wax remains. It’s time for a new scent—and a fresh vibe.

Reuse your vessel. Once the wax is gone, clean out your jar and give it a new life—think small planter, cotton ball holder, or match jar.
